1. Happy Little Pasture with Lamb (half share with lamb)

will recieve all the assortments as the standard half share. Plus your share will include various cuts of lamb. This

share is enough for two adults.

 

2. Happy Pasture (standard full share)

Includes: full share of beef, pork and chicken. You will recieve enough natural meats for four adults each month. Various cuts include steak, bacon, turkery burger, ground beef, whole chickens, and cuts of turkey. Feeds a family

of four with 20 lbs of meat per month.

Share Pickup: Members can choose to pick up their weekly produce for the Harvest share at the farm stand each Saturday. Members must to bring their own "baskets, bags, and backpacks" for picking up their food. Smyler's Farm Stand is located at 347 Warren Street, Hudson, NY. Meat Shares can be picked up at the farm stand for the Fall. And 6798 Route 9, Hudson, NY for winter months.

 

Payment Methods and Details:

1. Money: Smyler's Farm accepts cash, checks, and credit cards. All share purchases must be paid in full up-front. No refunds. Costs of share go into the cost of this young farm. Call us at 845 750 5252 or use the purchase button on this website to reserve a 2011 share!

 

2. Work: You may be able to trade 12 hours of work for a $120 reduction of your share cost. The 12 hours can be worked throughout the season, at least 2 hours per shift. You will be able to choose your work times from available blocks of hours. Beyond the 12 hours, members (or their families or friends) are welcome to volunteer and enjoy working on the farm for fun, education, or as a workout! There is a limited amount of work available for barter each growing season so
let us know early if you would like the work discount on your membership.

 

3. Barter: We are open to barter! Here are examples of what might be considered for barter in exchange for a discount on a farm share: seeds, ceramic planters, peat pots, stone, gravel, mulch, hay, firewood, trucks or truck usage, tools or tool usage, manure, animals, sheds, greenhouses, or building materials.
